The organization has an exciting opportunity for a qualified Accountant to be based at their corporate head office in Petaling Jaya. They are seeking to recruit a qualified Accountant to assume the role of Finance Manager.
About the role
This is a full time permanent position, reporting directly to the Country Manager/Regional Director. The Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the overall finance management,reporting and compliance functions.The role will be to manage the full spectrum of finance functions for the business operations in Malaysia.
In this role, you will be responsible to supervise the finance team and ensure internal controls are upheld and maintained. As the head of finance and administration, your responsibilities will include:
Management the full spectrum of finance functions,including GL, AR/AP,treasury,payroll and taxation.
Prepare accurate and timely monthly and annual financial reports.
Conduct detailed variance analysis,KPI reporting.
Oversee cash flow management,treasury operations.
Manage taxation, audit and all related matters.
Prepare and collating accurate and timely monthly and quarterly financial reports and manage payroll,profit & loss and revenue reports.
Preparation of annual budget and forecasts.
Preparation of statutory accounts and support to annual and half year audit.
The candidate
To be successful for this role, candidates need to fulfill the following criteria:
Malaysian male or female, preferably in age group 30-40
A qualified accountant with qualification in Bachelor degree or ACCA/CIMA.
Member of MIA.
Minimum 5-8 years of commercial experience in managing finance and accounting functions; prior experience in retail,MLM or FMCG industry will be a distinct advantage.
Proficient in English,both verbal and written plus conversant in BM and Mandarin.
