Job Description

Job Summary :

Responsible for full spectrum of financial and accounting functions including AP, AR, GL, P&L, BS, management reports, budget, forecast, cash flows, banking facilities, fixed assets management, CAPEX, auditing, tax and company secretarial.

Ensure smooth operation and sound internal control to meet all reporting deadline set by management.

Main Responsibilities



Oversee the administration of the Financial Department & supervision of the staff in their duties and deadline in their daily accounts operations. Responsible to ensure that all ledger, accounts receivables and payables are properly maintained and reconciled on a monthly basis. Responsible for issuance of payments and receipt of payment. Preparation of monthly cash flow forecast and P&L for projects and annual budgets for the Company. Liaise with external auditor, tax agent, banker and statutory bodies. Ensure all documents, statements and record comply with financial legal, tax
requirements and financial reporting standard.

Maintain confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential. Ensure timely preparation and submission of monthly and yearly financial statement and reports. Assisting in ad hoc assignments as and when request by the management. Handle full set of accounts, general ledger, accounts receivable and payable independently. Responsible for monthly account settlement, consolidation and closing. Responsible for cash flow and ensure bank reconciliation is done on timely manner. Prepare monthly financial reports including trial balances. Prepare periodical budget and tax review. Prepare annual budget and financial projections to facilitate business decision-making process. Provide support to year-end audit and tax filing. Assist Director in overall Company financial position and perform necessary analysis and research on new business idea. Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures. Able to lead, educate, coordinate subordinates in building positive attitude and high level of operation efficiency. Coordinate with external auditors and bankers.
Qualifications :

Professional Diploma / Degree in Finance/Accountancy Advance/Intermediate LCCI Possess relevant professional degree / qualification ie ACCA, CIMA, MIA, CPA, etc At least 5 years of working experience in construction field is an added advantage. Proficient in local financial software Good knowledge of local financial policies, eg tax, bank, import and export. Possess good negotiation and communication skills in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia. Able to handle stress and cope with timeline. Strong sense of teamwork and interpersonal skills. Cheerful personality and customer oriented with pleasant personality.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
