Job Responsibilities

Oversee overall accounting and finance operations, including monthly financial reporting and monitoring of financial facilities. Manage general ledger, debtors, creditors, and ensure proper accounting controls are in place. Supervise and guide accounts staff to ensure accurate daily entries and timely month-end closing. Ensure timely billing, payments, bank reconciliation, and cash flow management. Maintain strong internal controls, conduct periodic reviews, and recommend process improvements. Manage petty cash, cash book recording, and internal financial audit processes. Prepare and monitor company budgets, cash flow forecasts, and presentation budgets. Handle banking matters including bank guarantees, performance bonds, letters of credit, and related documentation. Manage insurance matters, company assets, rentals, and equipment leasing. Liaise with auditors, tax authorities (LHDN), Customs (SST), bankers, solicitors, and related companies. Support accounting system setup and financial management for related and associated companies. Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Authority

Control petty cash and verify accounting vouchers and payments. Approve and manage the company's accounting system and financial records.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent (min. CGPA of 3.00), with professional certification (ACCA/CPA/CCIMA/MICPA) preferred. Min 6 years of working experience in the related field is required Ability to lead and collaborate effectively within a team. Sound understanding of local statutory reporting requirements and e-invoicing to ensure compliance. Good organizational and interpersonal skills, commercial awareness. Excellent oral and written communication in English, Malay, and Mandarin for effective stakeholder management.
