Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to oversee financial planning, reporting, and control across company projects and subsidiaries. This role will provide financial guidance to senior management, ensure compliance with MFRS and statutory requirements, and play a key part in driving profitability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Review, verify, and approve all project-related payments before submission to the Head of Department. Advise and assist the Group Executive Chairman on cost control, budget allocation, and overall financial matters related to projects. Conduct financial analysis, including gross profit and loss assessments, prior to project approvals. Supervise and monitor financial activities of subsidiaries to ensure timely returns and compliance with reporting requirements. Maintain accurate financial records, including cash flow (debit/credit) tracking and project cost analysis. Prepare cost calculations related to operations and production. Manage and organize financial documentation and project account files. Liaise with auditors during audit processes, ensuring timely preparation of required documents. Develop, implement, and improve financial management procedures, policies, and internal controls. Prepare and present annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to management. Perform other duties as directed from time to time by Group Executive Chairman

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent. Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or MICPA) are highly preferred. Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience, including at least 2-3 years in a managerial capacity. In-depth knowledge of Malaysian tax laws, MFRS, and regulatory compliance. Strong analytical, financial modelling, and reporting skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial systems, and ERP/accounting software. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
