Finance Manager / Section Manager

Job Description


We are looking for a highly skilled Finance Manager / Section Manager with a strong background in management accounting functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial activities, providing strategic financial insights, and ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our financial planning and analysis efforts.Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis:
  • Develop and manage financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Analyze financial performance and variances.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for strategic financial decisions.
  • Management Accounting Functions:
  • Prepare and review management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Oversee cost accounting, cost control, and profitability analysis.
  • Implement and maintain effective financial controls and processes.
  • Reporting and Compliance:
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports for internal stakeholders and external regulators.
  • Monitor compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and legal regulations.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance personnel, providing guidance and support for their development.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with overall business objectives.
  • Project Management:
  • Manage finance-related projects, including system implementations, projections, process improvements, and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure project milestones are met and deliverables are achieved on time
Requirement:
  • Member of Malaysian Institute of Accountant (MIA)
  • Education: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience: Have progressive experience in finance, management accounting role and audit background or a similar capacity.
  • Skills:
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
