Job Description

Our client is currently looking for a Finance Manager to join them to lead their Finance Team and work closely with the Managing Director. Key Responsibilities : Responsible for overseeing and engaging in the Finance & Accounting aspects of the group and operational finance. Responsible for supervising the preparation and upkeep of complete sets of accounts, as well as forecasting accounts receivables and payables. Responsible for preparing financial reports and the annual budget. Responsible for supervising funding activities, budgets, management reports and implementing improvements to the internal control system. Responsible for preparing group/statutory financial statements, submitting reports and liaising with auditors and tax agents. Responsible for implementing finance procedures, managing the structuring of new entity investments and establishing a cost control policy. Responsible for interpreting and formulating plans to improve revenue. Responsible for ensuring compliance with local tax laws and handling financial transactions. Responsible for leading and managing continuous improvement projects to enhance the Finance Department\'s performance. Responsible for ensuring sufficient cash flow to sustain the operations of the Malaysia entity. Responsible for managing GST submission, annual tax submission and compliance matters. Responsible for monitoring the financial position, performance and cash flows of the company, as well as executing fund transfers. Accountable for handling ad-hoc tasks, urgent duties, projects and assignments. Key Requirements: Possess a Bachelor\'s Degree in Accountancy or equivalent and is a qualified accountant i.e. ACCA/CPA/ICAEW holdeer. Possess minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant experience with a combination of both External Audit (preferably from the Big 4) and Commercial Finance. Proficient in written and spoken English and Mandarin to work closely with all stakeholders. Possess strong communication skills.
