The Finance Manager will oversee all financial operations of the electronic manufacturing services company, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, optimizing financial performance, and supporting strategic growth. This role requires strong analytical skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to partner with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning & Analysis.
- Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Monitor financial performance against targets and provide variance analysis.
- Accounting & Compliance.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with local regulations and international accounting standards.
- Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, audit requirements, and corporate governance.
- Cost Management.
- Implement cost-control measures specific to manufacturing operations.
- Conduct margin analysis, product costing, and inventory valuation.
- Strategic Support.
- Provide financial insights to support decision-making in production, procurement, and supply chain management.
- Partner with senior management to evaluate investment opportunities, capital expenditures, and new business initiatives.
- Risk Management.
- Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and credit facilities.
- Team Leadership.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or CPA/CFA an added advantage).
- Minimum 7-10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or EMS industry is highly desirable.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and manufacturing finance.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, SQL, or similar).
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
Soft Skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to collaborate across departments.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-mix low-volume production environment.
Other Requirements
- Knowledge of international trade, supply chain finance, and global tax structures is an advantage.
