• Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reporting returns for submission to Central Bank and other regulators.
• Prepare various important input for disclosures in the Interim and Annual Financial Statements.
• Perform analytical review and investigate unusual trends.
• Prepare and analyse competitor banks\xe2\x80\x99 performance.
• Identify, implement and support digital solutions as part of continuous streamlining of reporting processes.
• Prepare and support line manager on internal and external reporting data request including data request from rating agencies.
• Assist line manager in new reporting guideline implementation.
• To ensure adherence to HSBC Internal Control Standards, including timely implementation of recommendations made by internal/external auditors and external regulators.

Requirements

• Minimum with Degree qualification. Possessing one to two years of related knowledge and practical experience in financial reporting will be an additional advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Point. Having knowledge of Python/ Xceptor/ Qliksense applications will be an added advantage.
• Effective communication (both verbal and written), good interpersonal skills and able to maintain strong working relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.
• A fast learner, and able to multi-task.
• Good time management. Good analytical and problem solving skills.
• A good team player.
• Adaptable to a dynamic environment and able to deliver consistent performance.
