Oversee and manage daily finance operations, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial transactions and timely posting into the accounting system (Odoo).
Supervise and guide finance staff at HQ and branch offices to ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.
Review staff claims, vendor invoices, and payments to ensure proper authorization, documentation, and coding.
Monitor cash flow and prepare weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts to support management decision-making.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards
Review and reconcile intercompany transactions between HQ and branches (local and international).
Prepare and review monthly management reports, including budget variance analysis and cost tracking for ongoing projects.
Assist in the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial performance indicators.
Maintain relationships with auditors, tax agents, banks, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with reporting and audit requirements.
Coordinate with the procurement and operations teams to ensure financial accuracy in project costing, procurement approvals, and expense allocations.
Ensure timely closing of monthly and year-end accounts and assist in audit preparation.
Analyze financial data to identify areas for cost efficiency and improvement in processes.
Provide regular financial insights and updates to the Director of Finance and management team.
Mentor and train junior finance staff to ensure continuous development and high performance.
Handle ad hoc financial assignments and special projects as directed by management.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum 5 -6 years of progressive experience in accounting/finance roles, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory capacity.
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices, financial analysis, and financial reporting.
Solid knowledge of local financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance.
High integrity, attention to detail, and strong organizational and leadership skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications
Self-motivated, pro-active, committed, and flexible with strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a multi-national and multi-cultural work environment.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
