Client Background: IT/ Telecommunication
Position: Senior Accountant, Group & Statutory Reporting
Location: Petaling Jaya
Headcount: 2
Tenure: Permanent
Remuneration: RM 3,500-RM 4,000 (depends on experience)
Responsibilities
- Collate all queries from the centralised mailbox (that will be receiving all the queries - similar to IS helpdesk). Includes but not limited to the below: o Support business users in raising PR/PO for CAPEX and OPEX purchases on ARIBA (Coding Queries)
o Ensure compliance with finance policies and procedures in all procurement activities
o Provide training and support to new users on the ARIBA system
o Any other queries determine to be relevant
- Assign to the member to that is handling the respective divisions
- Timely responses on all queries and follow-up actions
- Tracking of frequencies on type of queries as well as the follow up time
- Handle/Maintain/Refine all aspects of the OPEX Forecast Macro File, including updating financial data of the file, on a quarterly & monthly basis.
- Assisting in the preparation of budget and financial forecast templates/data.
- Diploma (preferred) with minimum 2 years relevant working experience. Knowledge in accounting and finance
- Minimum 1 year of Financial Planning and Analysis experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to details and accuracy.
- Good communication with strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Can handle ambiguity independently and deliver within strict timeline in a fast-paced environment.
- Competent in PC applications e.g. Microsoft Office. Knowledge of SAP, ANAPLAN will be an advantage.
