Client Background: IT/ Telecommunication Position: Senior Accountant, Group & Statutory Reporting Location: Petaling Jaya Headcount: 2 Tenure: Permanent Remuneration: RM 3,500-RM 4,000 (depends on experience) Responsibilities . Collate all queries from the centralised mailbox (that will be receiving all the queries - similar to IS helpdesk). Includes but not limited to the below: o Support business users in raising PR/PO for CAPEX and OPEX purchases on ARIBA (Coding Queries) o Address and resolve simple ARIBA system related queries from business users o Ensure compliance with finance policies and procedures in all procurement activities o Provide training and support to new users on the ARIBA system o Any other queries determine to be relevant . Assign to the member to that is handling the respective divisions . Timely responses on all queries and follow-up actions . Tracking of frequencies on type of queries as well as the follow up time . Handle/Maintain/Refine all aspects of the OPEX Forecast Macro File, including updating financial data of the file, on a quarterly & monthly basis. . Assisting in the preparation of budget and financial forecast templates/data. Educational level: . Diploma (preferred) with minimum 2 years relevant working experience. Knowledge in accounting and finance . Minimum 1 year of Financial Planning and Analysis experience preferred. . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to details and accuracy. . Good communication with strong teamwork and interpersonal skills. . Can handle ambiguity independently and deliver within strict timeline in a fast-paced environment. . Competent in PC applications e.g. Microsoft Office. Knowledge of SAP, ANAPLAN will be an advantage.
