We are currently seeking a FINANCE SYSTEMS EXECUTIVE to join our team based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Successful candidate would be offered fixed term employment, About the Job The Financial Systems Executive will assist the Finance Systems Controller in monthly and daily duties. By helping, to manage and operate the Oracle ERP system. Provide support and working closely with the Finance and Accounts Team to ensure its effective operation and to deliver a high-quality service to the wider business. The Finance Systems Executive needs to be open with learning new things and be able to think outside the box, to assist in analyzing the financial information needs by reviewing existing systems and working out the best way forward to ensure the system are being used optimally and that the financial reporting is meeting the team\'s and organisation\'s needs. Responsible for ensuring comprehensive business requirements are documented, test plans are written, and testing is conducted prior to new systems or changes being implemented. Work with finance and other teams to ensure new processes and financial systems are implemented into the organisation ie. document procedures, provide relevant training and communications Must be comfortable with technology and able to learn new software quickly Day-to-day systems support and issue resolution Dealing with interface exceptions Managing and monitoring scheduled requests Finance systems support for all functions within the Oracle Finance module including Projects, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger Manage and prepare the Balance Sheet Recon Portal Maintain the PA and GL journal upload template Management of the Project Creation Wizard Provide support for Master Data Management eg. customers and projects Document processes, training materials, test plans, etc Raise Incident tickets when needed and work closely with the IT Support team in resolving the issue Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulations accounting policies and procedures Work is generally reviewed at completion for accuracy and soundness Support any ad-hoc tasks as assigned Work together and closely with the Finance Systems Control team Perform reconciliations and analysis Responsible for reconciliations and best-practice procedures About You We\'d love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements: User front end experience with an ERP (eg. Oracle, SAP, IFS, etc) Knowledge with Microsoft Applications eg. Excel, Sharepoint, etc A Bachelor\'s degree in IT, Accounting, Business or Finance Minimum of 1-2 years of financial and systems application experience Ability to liaise and communicate effectively with stakeholders on relevant issues Fluent in English Detail oriented Independent and able to manage tight deadlines Team Player Good to have: Knowledge of Accounting standards and principles, including month end closing processes What\'s next Starting Date: Immediate Once receiving your application, a recruiter performs an initial check and a review is further carried by hiring manager.
