\xef\xbb\xbfJob \xef\xbb\xbfResponsibilities

  • \xef\xbb\xbf\xef\xbb\xbfOversee the smooth and efficient running of the Finance Department
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and management reports. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Develop and manage the budgeting process, working closely with various departments to establish financial targets and objectives. Prepare financial forecasts and analyze variances between actual and budgeted results.
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Establish and maintain effective internal control procedures to safeguard company assets, ensure accuracy of financial records, and compliance with policies and regulations. Conduct internal audits and implement necessary improvements.
  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities. Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and optimize working capital.
  • Coordinate tax planning strategies and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. Work with external tax advisors and auditors to manage tax filings, audits, and related matters.
  • Manage and mentor the finance team, including manager, executive, and other staff. Set performance goals, provide guidance, and promote professional development.
  • Collaborate with executive management to develop financial strategies and objectives aligned with the organization\'s goals.
\xef\xbb\xbfJob Requirements
  • \xef\xbb\xbf\xef\xbb\xbfA bachelor\'s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required. Professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) may be preferred or advantageous.
  • Understanding of overall hotel operations and finance functions
  • Able to work independently and is a good team player with leadership skills
  • Mature, pro-active, independent, analytical, meticulous and able to meet deadlines
  • In-depth understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and relevant regulations. Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting techniques
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with cross-functional departments. Strong communication and presentation
abilities to convey financial information clearly and concisely
  • Computer literate, proficient in MS Excel. Knowledge of Fidelio / Opera and SUN Accounting System
  • Able to start immediately will be an added advantage
