FINANCIAL CONTROLLER - MALAYSIA (OSC Group)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to lead and oversee the financial operations of OSC Group in Malaysia. This key leadership position is responsible for ensuring full financial compliance, managing budgets and forecasts, and delivering accurate and timely financial reports. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our HQ in Dubai to align Malaysia's financial performance with the Group's overall strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end financial management, reporting, and compliance in accordance with local regulations and company policies. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for OSC Malaysia. Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights to support strategic and operational decision-making. Ensure full compliance with Malaysian tax laws, accounting standards, and corporate governance requirements. Maintain strong internal controls and effective cash flow management. Coordinate with HQ on treasury-related matters, including banking, credit facilities, and foreign currency management. Analyse cost structures and implement cost-control initiatives to enhance efficiency and profitability. Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve high performance and departmental excellence. Support HQ and local management with ad-hoc financial analysis, business planning, and investment evaluations. Contribute to the company's readiness and compliance for ISO accreditation within the targeted timeline. Work effectively within a complex environment involving group reporting structures.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline (CPA/ACCA/CA/CMA preferred). Minimum 15 years of financial management experience, including at least 10 years in a managerial or leadership role. Bumiputera candidates are preferred. Strong knowledge of Malaysian financial regulations, taxation, and reporting standards. Proven experience in cross-border financial reporting and collaboration with HQ or regional offices. Proficient in ERP and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks). Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills. Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to perform effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.

Pay: RM15,000.00 - RM25,000.00 per month
