As the Financial Controller, you will be working within our technology enabled finance hub to play a key role in creating a high performing team responsible for delivering Close and Control activities for APAC markets as well as deliver more complex accounting activities. You will help to deliver the Finance vision of a \xe2\x80\x9cworld class finance function recognised by industry, the profession and our people\xe2\x80\x9d which underpins the GSK vision.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

• Responsible for the reporting of financial results for their market and entity with commentary including income, balance sheet and cash flow which is accurate and complete.
• Sign-off of statutory results with in-market FD.
• Consolidation, analysis and interpretation of market and/or divisional results
• Review financial information against historical run rates and future growth plans.
• Owns the entity balance sheets including approval of reconciliations.
• Prepare and review of accounting papers.
• Supports and is responsible for the inputs to the external and internal financial audits.
• Co-ordinate the month end review process, OE reporting requirements, facilitating month end meetings, co-ordinating with in-country finance board, maintaining risk register & co-ordinating with all external partners.
• Comparing monthly results & variance analysis.
• Supports tax process

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

• Extensive 3 years post qualification experience as a Finance Controller, preferably within the Pharmaceutical industry, and in a similar operating model.
• Qualified accountant
• Experience of working with SAP
• Fluent English
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Developed analytical skills
• Outside of the box thinking and problem-solving skills
