Why does this job exist and why is it critical?
Principal Accountabilities:Develop and maintain a comprehensive budget tracking system for USP and NADI projects. Provide regular budget updates and reports to internal stakeholders and management. Identify and mitigate potential budget risks and issues. Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement cost-saving initiatives. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and guidelines.

Skill level and requirementsFinancial Management (Advanced): Proven experience in budget management and fund utilization. USP Knowledge (Experienced): Understanding of MCMC USP regulations and compliance requirements. Analytical Skills (Advanced): Skilled in analysing budget utilization and claims data. Number Crunching (Advanced): Proficient in handling large datasets, performing complex calculations, and identifying trends. Solid experience in SAP and advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).

CertificationsFinancial or marketing certification preferred.

Competencies (Communication and Working Relationships)Accountability: Advanced: Takes ownership of budget control and claims optimization for USP and NADI projects. Financial Impact: High: Financial decisions have a significant impact on the company's bottom line. Key External Contacts: MCMC, Technology Partners, and other external stakeholders. Key Internal Contacts: Project Management, Planning, Claims & Compliance, Finance, and other internal teams. Problem Solving: Analyzes complex budget and claims data to identify areas for optimization.

Other Key InformationFormal Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or related field. Language: English, Bahasa Malaysia Relevant Working Experience: Proven experience in budget management and fund utilization, understanding of MCMC USP regulations and compliance requirements, experience in analyzing budget utilization and claims data & proficient in handling large datasets, performing complex calculations, and identifying trends.
