Financial Planning Analyst (kepong)(manufacturing)

Job Description
The role requires you to be in charge of analysis for accounting matters and be involved in costing, forecasting, and budgeting. You would be reporting to the Accounts Manager.
This role would require you to: * Assist in daily accounting and finance operations.
- Manage costing, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
- Prepare comprehensive management accounts and financial reports.
- Conduct financial, sales, and budgeting analyses for all Group subsidiaries/associates.
- Support annual statutory audits, corporate tax filings, and subsidiary budgeting.
- Prepare schedules for audit and tax purposes.
- Review and manage monthly AR and AP aging and intercompany balance reconciliations.
- Address additional ad-hoc duties as necessary.
A successful candidate would be required to possess the following:
- At least a university degree in accounting or business administration, or Chartered, Certified or Certified Professional Accountant is accepted.
- Minimum 3-5 years of handling full sets of Accounts
- Prior experience in audit would be advantageous
- Prior experience in the manufacturing industry would be advantageous
- Previous experience with SAP would be an advantage
- Self-motivated and proactive with eagerness to learn
