An exciting Financial Reporting job has just become available at one of the most respected global banking firms based in Kuala Lumpur. This role reports directly to the HOD. About the Financial Reporting Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for preparing consolidated monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements. The Financial Reporting Lead plays a major part of the month-end close. In addition, you will also be responsible for keeping up to date on IFRS standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for timeliness, accuracy and completeness of reporting via the BNM STATSmart Portal
• Keep abreast of new BNM Regulatory reporting guideline/requirements and ensure compliance
• Liaise with various stakeholders from other department/team for the data required for reporting
• Provide support on all queries/issues from relevant stakeholders to ensure enquiries are successfully resolved on a timely basis
• Participate in financial reporting projects in the department and ensure successful completion on a timely basis
• Assist to update internal SOPs and manuals pertaining to the above-mentioned reporting
• Assist and support the implementation of new processes/changes to improve the effectiveness and efficiency in reporting flow

To succeed in the Financial Reporting job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with senior teams, across borders and internal matrix. Key Requirements:

• ACCA certified
• At least five years of work experience preferably in a financial institution and have experience leading and managing a team
• Bachelor\'s degree in Finance/Accounting or related fields
• Knowledge in financial reporting is an advantage
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to plan and execute while maintaining effective working relationships with stakeholders
