The Role

Provide professional advice and services to the daily activities of a Finance Unit in order to resolve complex finance issues, develop, recommend and implement changes to Finance policies and to successfully prepare financial forecasts, reports and other analyses ultimately aiming for providing the best possible business environment for AOC and its affiliates.

Responsibilities:

• Recognized as an expert within the company
• Anticipates internal and/or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues; recommend process, product or service improvements
• Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business
• Contributes to the development of functional strategy
• Leads project teams to achieve milestones and objectives
• Progression to this level is typically restricted on the basis of business requirements
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and variance reports for the business including Management Reports
• Prepare Board presentations for the Finance Coordinator
• Coordinate the End of Month Financial processes and financial statements
• Review detailed procedures and guidelines, these include conducting review of company finance and accounting guidelines and office manual
• Enforce procedure compliance throughout AOC and coordinate internal and external audits on behalf of the Finance Unit
• Advise the Finance Supervisor on complex finance issues

Requirements:

• Master degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field
• Fluent in English
• 20+ years of considerable experience within Finance
