Role Description This is a part-time hybrid role for a Fintech Developer Intern. The Fintech Developer Intern will be responsible for assisting with the development and maintenance of MoreCent\'s software systems. This role is located in Petaling Jaya, but offers flexibility for some remote work. Responsibilities Independent Project Management : Take charge of projects with minimal oversight, demonstrating the ability to work autonomously while aligning with MoreCent\'s objectives. You\'ll receive guidance from the project owner but are expected to drive the project forward independently. Research and Development : Conduct thorough research to identify best practices within the fintech space. You are encouraged to explore and integrate these practices into your programming and development work. Programming and Development : Develop and program with a focus on innovation and efficiency. Utilization of AI assistants is encouraged to streamline processes and enhance outcomes. However, a deep understanding of the code and the ability to articulate its functionality and design to others is essential. Current Projects Website and Landing Page Development : Enhance MoreCent\'s online presence through user-centric design and functionality. Trading Software and Interface Customization : Build and refine software solutions that simplify and optimize trading activities. Investment Portfolio and Dashboard Interface : Design interfaces that provide clear and actionable investment insights to clients. Market Price Database Management Scripts : Develop scripts for the efficient collection, analysis, and management of market data. Qualifications Experience with programming languages such as Python, HTML, and CSS Experience with software development and coding Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in a team and alone Strong communication and interpersonal skills Interest in finance and investments Pursuing or holding a degree in Computer Science or related fields Interest in investment and financial literacy Internship Program Details Position: Fintech Developer Intern Start Date: March 18, 2024 Duration: Two months, part-time (Two days per week) Location: Hybrid (One day onsite, one day remote) Compensation: Stipend for travel and meals Benefits of the Internship Understanding of Financial Markets : Gain insights into financial markets, investment strategies, and personal finance management.
