Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking

Fitter / Fitter Assistant

to join our fabrication team. The successful candidate will assist in fitting, assembling, and preparing metal parts for welding and fabrication work. This role requires strong attention to detail, good hands-on skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Candidates with welding or metal fabrication experience will have an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in fitting and assembling metal components according to technical drawings and work instructions. Measure, cut, grind, and prepare materials using tools such as rulers, calipers, grinders, and cutting machines. Set up and secure parts using clamps, jigs, or fixtures prior to welding or assembly. Support welders in material preparation, alignment, and finishing tasks. Operate Oxy Cut and Plasma Cutting machines under supervision (if trained). Perform basic polishing, cleaning, and inspection of finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality. Follow safety procedures and maintain cleanliness in the work area. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth project flow.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in welding and fitting. Certificate or Diploma in Welding / Metal Fabrication (preferred). Proficient in SMAW, TIG & MIG welding. Strong fabrication skills, including cutting, fitting, and finishing. Experience in Oxy Cut and Plasma Cutting operations. Ability to read and follow technical drawings and instructions. Detail-oriented with high integrity, discipline, and a strong work ethic. Independent, responsible, and a team player with good communication skills. Ability to understand and deliver based on customer requirements.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
