Job Description

1. Fabrication & Installation

Perform fitting and assembly of

piping systems

and

steel structures

according to drawings and specifications. Ensure proper alignment, orientation, and leveling during installation. Prepare pipe spools, brackets, beams, and structural components for welding.

2. Drawing Interpretation

Read and interpret

piping isometric drawings

,

P&ID

, and

structural fabrication drawings

accurately. Identify material types, dimensions, and fitting requirements from drawings.

3. Tools & Equipment Handling

Use appropriate tools (grinders, cutting torches, measuring instruments, etc.) for cutting, grinding, marking, and fitting. Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition.

4. Quality & Safety Compliance

Ensure all work is executed in compliance with project specifications, standards, and safety requirements. Follow company HSE procedures and report any unsafe conditions or practices.

5. Coordination & Communication

Work closely with welders, supervisors, and quality inspectors to ensure proper sequencing and fit-up. Support supervisors in resolving technical issues on-site or during fabrication.

6. Ad-hoc Tasks

Assist in carrying out additional tasks assigned by supervisors to support project requirements. Provide flexibility in handling urgent or unexpected work related to fabrication, installation, and site activities.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: From RM1,700.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 per week
