:Huntsman Global Business Services is now looking for a dynamic individual as a Fixed Assets Accountant. The Fixed Assets Accountant position is accountable for recording the cost of newly-acquired fixed assets (both tangible and intangible), tracking existing fixed assets, monitoring on the Capital in Progess, recording depreciation, and accounting for the disposition of fixed assets.The Fixed Assets Accountant will be working closely with the various stakeholders in multiple countries around the globe (i.e Country Accountant, Local Business & Project Manager) to ensure that the accounting service is delivered on time with quality and satisfactory. The Fixed Assets Accountant also need to ensure that the works performed are in accordance to USGAAP and Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX) control.The ideal candidate will be located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.As a Fixed Assets Accountant you will:To ensure the KPI are metTo ensure SOX and GAAP complianceTo complete month end closing with deadlineTo complete fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system.Track the compilation of project costs into fixed asset accounts, and close out those accounts once the related projects have been completed.Reconcile the balance in the fixed asset subsidiary ledger to the summary-level account in the general ledger.Calculate and analyze depreciation movement for all fixed assets.To maintain the detailed schedule of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation.To monitor and track on CIP Projects (Capital In Progress) on the spending and timeframeTo support and service business queries and report in timely mannerTo involve in implementing systems and procedures changesTo involve in ad hoc project and migrationAssist with requests by internal and/or external auditWhat skills and experiences are we looking for?Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalentFresh graduates / half year internship / less than one year accounting working experienceWorks on assignments/tasks that are moderately complex in natureWorks on problems of limited scope.Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtainedUsing judgement in resolving routine/repetitive problems and making routine recommendationsApplies job skills, company policies and procedures to complete tasksMS Office and Excel productsAble to work under tight deadlineAble to prioritize tasksHave good written and communication skillHandle self well in a stressful situationBe flexible with schedulingBe sensitive to customer needsBe focus on qualityFluent in EnglishWhat can we offer?Huntsman offers unsurpassed opportunities to build a successful future.
