Set up the welding machine, adjusting welding parameters, selecting the welding head, and ensuring proper functionality. \xef\x81\xb5 Prepare the work area by cleaning and preparing the rails to be welded and ensuring that the work area is hazard-free. \xef\x81\xb5 Operate the welding machine, position the rails correctly, initiate the welding process, and monitor the process to ensure proper fusion. \xef\x81\xb5 Perform quality control checks using visual inspection, non-destructive testing, or other measures to ensure welds meet required standards. \xef\x81\xb5 Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on the welding machine, replacing worn or damaged components and cleaning the machine as necessary. \xef\x81\xb5 Require working in adverse weather conditions or in difficult terrain, such as on a railway track in a remote location. \xef\x81\xb5 Able to follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment while working to ensure their safety and the safety of others.

The 640KM ECRL is expected to be completed by end of 2026. The route starts at Kota Bharu in Kelantan and ends at Port Klang in Selangor. It will pass through Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, Negeri Sembilan, Selangor and Putrajaya Federal Territory. Passengers can have easy access in Putrajaya Central Station to go to Kuala Lumpur International Airport or other places in the east coast. The ECRL project will become the main transportation line between the east and west coasts, providing comfortable and convenient modes of travel and freight for the public, promoting the development of commerce, logistics, trade and tourism along the railway, improving people\xe2\x80\x99s livelihood, promoting regional development and upgrading local industry competitiveness.
