Role Overview
The Floor Captain is the key leader who ensures the entire immersive dining show runs smoothly.
You are the one who controls pacing, communication, and coordination between performers,
service team, and kitchen -- making each show flow seamlessly.
This is not a traditional restaurant captain role, and not a backstage stage manager.
It is a front-of-house show operations leadership position.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the full flow of each show from guest arrival to curtain call
Coordinate real-time communication between:
Performers
Kitchen dish-out timing
Service team
Ensure 2 shows per day run on schedule and without interruptions
Conduct pre-show briefings to confirm cues, spacing, and assignments
Monitor and maintain floor atmosphere and guest experience
Guide performer entry and exit movement patterns (no performing required)
Manage guest pathing to ensure safety and smooth performer interactions
Make quick on-the-spot adjustments when timings shift
Resolve guest issues professionally while maintaining show mood
