About the job Flow Assurance Engineer (6 months job basis)
Description

Perform in house FA study for determination / verification of pipeline sizes. Able to propose optimization for pipeline sizes as well as mitigation for FA.
Drive contractor / consultant in performing FA studies.
Prepare FA related scope of work, including CTR, for the purpose of bidding
Occasional site visit (fabrication yard / offshore) for design verification and work monitoring purposes.

Requirement

Degree in Chemical or equivalent engineering discipline
Min of 8 years of working experience in process design/engineering of facilities in theupstream for oil and gas industry for senior engineer
Preferred with process design / engineering experience. Able to operate ANSYS / HYSYSsoftwares
Able to operate flow assurance softwares, i.e. OLGA & PIPESIM as a minimum.
Familiar with latest PIPESIM and OLGA, and other software deem necessary to complete FAstudy
Fully conversant with international codes (API 14E, ASME B31.4 & ASME B31.8)
Faimiliar with PETRONAS standard (PTS)
Fully conversant with flow assurance related matters (sizing, determine of slug volumes,produced water handling etc.) and able to conduct studies and propose solutions.
Have experience with mitigating wax, hydrates and sand issue in offshore pipelines
