Monitors service and Beverage standards in Outlet\'s. Liaises with the Kitchen and Beverage Department on daily operations and quality control. Manages costs and employees productivity through the use of multi-tasking and flexible scheduling to meet financial goals of the business as well as the expectation of the guest. Assists with planning and organizing of special Functions/Seasonal Events/Projects in all the Food and Beverage Department. Assists in the preparation of the Annual Business Plan for Food and Beverage when required. Assists in the recruitment and selection of all Food and Beverage employees. Adhere to the hotel guidelines when recruiting and uses a competency-based approach to selecting employees. Oversees the punctuality and appearance of all Food and Beverage employees, making sure that they wear the correct uniform and maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene, according to the hotel and department\'s grooming standards. Actively engage in your own personal development to benefit the hotel business and improve your personal skills. Maximizes the effectiveness of employees by developing each of their skills and abilities through the appropriate training, coaching, and/or mentoring. Encourages employees to be creative and innovative, challenging and recognizing them for their contribution to the success of the operation. Understands and strictly adheres to Rules and Regulations established in the Employee Handbook and the hotel\'s policies concerning fire, hygiene, health and safety. Attends training sessions and meetings as and when required. Any other ad-hoc task assigned by Management from time to time. Job Requirements: Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Food & Service Management. Minimum with 4 - 7 years of experience in Restaurant, Hotel & banquet, food industry or equivalent with certified food handler. Well experience in cost control and budgeting. Strong knowledge and experience in HACCP and food safety. Having experience and understanding in Halal process will be added an advantage. Excellent organizational and planning skills to execute sales campaign. Strong attention to details, product and inventory management. Strong interest and passion in creating a great dining experience. Good interpersonal skills when interacting with all levels of the employee. Required to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Possess own transport and willing to travel.
