Located at the heart of the Kuala Lumpur city Centre, Traders Hotel by Shangri-la is looking for an Food & Beverage Admin.

As Food & Beverage Admin we rely on you:

  • Coordination of inter-office and intradepartmental communications including telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, word processing, creating spreadsheets, presentations, and filing.
Completion of menus, letters, reports, forms and other documents for the food and beverage office.

Ensure prompt completion and delivery of documents and correspondence.

Maintains office-filing system to include alphabetical, chronological, trace and daily files.

Maintains Director of Food and Beverage\' s appointments and schedule.

Handles guest replies and assists the outlet managers and the Director of Food and Beverage with the administrational part of sales activities.

Handles Festive Desk Activities or similar requirements to boost restaurant sales in coordination with the Director of Food and Beverage.

Provides for accurate completion of menus, transcripts and meeting minutes.

Handles information interaction with purveyors, peers and other business situations.

Handles all guest, employee, management and owner interaction with complete courtesy and professionalism.

Maintains a positive and result oriented outlook, constantly striving for improvement both personally and professionally.

Handles sensitive matters in strict confidentiality with no exceptions.

Practices accident prevention measures.

Completes other duties as assigned by the Director of Food and Beverage.

Interacts with other departments to provide additional or specialized guest services.

Requirements:
  • Certificate or College level.
  • Good command in writing & speaking English.
  • With working experience in Hotel F&B outlet.
  • Effective social skills, Excellent administration and IT (office) skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive materials and information
  • Able to maintain excellent customer service.
  • Due to work permit restrictions, only citizens of Malaysia and Permanent Residents of Malaysia shall be considered.
