Job Description

Position: Food & Beverage ManagerSalary range: RM 6,000.00 to RM 8,000.00 (Can be negotiated based on experience)Working location: Senai, JohorResponsibilities:Manage and oversee all food and beverage outlets within the hotel/property, including restaurants, bars, banquets, and room service.Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve revenue goals, enhance profitability, and maintain cost controls.Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and service are consistently met and exceeded.Lead and motivate a team of chefs, servers, bartenders, and support staff, providing training, coaching, and performance evaluations.Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and meet guest expectations.Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts and pricing agreements to optimize product quality and cost efficiency.Monitor and analyze financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability margins, and take corrective actions as needed.Implement and enforce health and safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and compliance with local regulations.Work closely with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to develop and execute promotional strategies and special events to drive food and beverage revenue.Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities, implementing best practices to maintain the hotel/property\'s competitive edge.Requirements:Bachelor\'s degree in hospitality management, culinary arts, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in food and beverage management within the hotel industry, with a proven track record of leadership and operational excellence.Strong knowledge of food and beverage trends, culinary techniques, and industry standards.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in computer systems, including POS systems and the Microsoft Office suite.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Only those with hotel sales experience apply.Reference Number:Contact Details:Fauzi_Kamalruddin@persolkelly.comProfession:Others
