The role of a Food Safety checker involves a variety of responsibilities to ensure that food products meet safety and quality standards. Key responsibilities include:
Verifying order accuracy to ensure products, quantities, and specifications match customer and operational requirements, while maintaining compliance with food safety standards.
Conducting inspections of food processing environments to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Developing and implementing food safety protocols and procedures in line with industry best practices.
Educating employees on food safety practices, hazard analysis, and critical control points (HACCP).
Monitoring and analyzing food safety data to generate reports for management and stakeholders.
Collaborating with quality assurance teams to address any food safety issues and implement corrective actions.
Staying informed about emerging food safety trends and regulations to contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
