The Technician is responsible for diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles are serviced to optimal performance standards. This role requires strong technical capability in both minor and major automotive repairs, including part replacement, maintenance work, and comprehensive diagnostic procedures. The Technician contributes to vehicle reliability, workshop efficiency, and customer satisfaction through accurate inspections, quality workmanship, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
1. Automotive Diagnostic & Inspections
Perform car diagnostics using scan tools to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections across all components and systems.
Communicate inspection findings to the Service Advisor clearly and accurately.
2. Service & Repair
Execute minor and major servicing, including oil changes and filter replacements.
Perform comprehensive vehicle maintenance to ensure reliability and performance.
Repair and replace various components using strong technical skills.
Handle complex tasks such as top overhaul and full engine overhaul.
3. BGarage Facilities & Tools Management
Maximize the use of workshop spaces and facilities for operational efficiency.
Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and functioning.
Manage and utilize automotive training tools and maintain equipment to industry standards.
Promote continuous improvement in workshop processes and tool organization.
4. Compliance, Safety & 5S
Follow all safety protocols and industry regulations.
Participate in maintaining 5S practices, including cleanliness, organization, and proper waste disposal.
Ensure tools and equipment are stored systematically using visual management methods.
5. Record Keeping
Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and customer interactions.
Update system entries (e.g., WEBMAX) for each task, including parts used and additional checks.
6. Continuous Learning
Engage in continuous improvement of technical skills and product knowledge.
Follow company SOPs and guidelines at all times.
Identify opportunities to upsell relevant parts or services to customers.
7. Compliance with Company Initiatives
Consistently implement and adhere to company policies, SOPs, and operational standards.
Support organizational initiatives to enhance quality and service performance.
Requirements
SPM/SKM in Automotive or related technical field.
Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repair procedures.
Ability to perform both minor and major automotive repairs.
Knowledge of workshop tools, equipment care, and 5S practices.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Action-oriented, fast learner, and able to work efficiently under minimal supervision.
Strong integrity, work ethics, and teamwork mindset.

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
