Forensic Accounting - Associate / Senior Associate / Assistant Manager / Manager Perun Consultants is a leading independent advisory firm with offices in Hong Kong, mainland China, Singapore and Malaysia. We are currently seeking ambitious and qualified candidates with the following attributes to join our Malaysia office as an Associate / Senior Associate / Assistant Manager / Manager. The successful candidate will be seeking a career involving restructuring and insolvency (R&I) and forensic accounting and be able to demonstrate experience (commensurate with the applicable employment grade) with some or all of the following: Technical knowledge of financial accounting practices; Assessment and quantification of commercial damages; Restructuring and insolvency knowledge; Valuation and appraisal of business and/or assets; Design and evaluation of financial models; Provision of litigation support services, having worked closely with legal counsel, law enforcement officers and/or regulatory agencies; and Assisting with internal and external financial investigations. Requirements Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, Law or other Business-related discipline preferred. CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent. Consideration will also be given to part qualified candidates, with support given to complete the qualification process. 4+ years relevant experience for the position of Assistant Manager and 2+ years relevant experience for the position of Associate. Eager to learn and motivated to succeed. Willing and able to work to tight deadlines. Proficient in detailed financial and commercial analysis. Proficient in Microsoft excel including advanced excel skills in financial modelling. Self-motivated, proactive and mature. Be able to work with different teams across offices. Proficient in Microsoft office applications. Strong financial, business analytical and report writing skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin, including both technical and business writing, and the candidate will be expected to be proficient in report writing.
