Requirements

• Possess a valid forklift operator license or certification.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Proficient in loading, unloading, and moving materials within the warehouse or designated areas.
• Capable of performing routine maintenance checks on the forklift and reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
• Must be able to read and understand shipping documents, labels, and instructions in Bahasa Malaysia, English, or Tamil.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in varying warehouse conditions.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, as needed to meet operational demands.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and locating materials is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate effectively with other warehouse staff.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse or designated areas.
• Perform daily inspections of the forklift, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and safety devices, and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper handling of goods to prevent damage.
• Stack and arrange materials in designated storage locations, following established procedures and maximizing space utilization.
• Transport materials between different departments or work areas, as directed by supervisors or work orders.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following traffic rules within the facility.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including removing debris and ensuring proper storage of equipment and materials.
