This role will act as primary business partner for APAC Medical business and provide day to day business partnering (sales, margin, expenses & working capital analytics) as well as any special business cases, pricing initiatives, tender renewals etc. across all 6 sub regions (ANZ, India, China, Japan, Korea, Rest of Asia). Relating to FP&A On a yearly basis, to be responsible for the preparation of the annual budget, working closely with the sales leaders and GBU Finance Team (concurrently with the Q4 forecast): Prepare, coordinate and distribute budget template to sales leaders, specific to the APAC region to set growth targets Update for standard cost changes during quarter ends and budget year and identify major cost variances by subregions by product style Consolidate, upload and review budget into GIS and FCCS reporting systems Construct analysis and commentary on budget vs current year for sales, margin, direct regional costs (distribution, sales, marketing) and general expenses Build the detailed budgeted expenses for Selling, Marketing, A&P and Customer Service/Support Functions. On a quarterly basis, to be responsible for the completion of the corporate forecast: Review the results of the demand planning forecast to sales forecast, identify gaps and ascertain whether feasible to use for corporate forecast Prepare, coordinate and distribute forecast template to sales leaders, based on a similar format to the budget (i.e. by volume, style and ASP, ACP) Update for standard cost changes and quantify the change impact Consolidate, upload and review budget into GIS and FCCS reporting systems Support input for the quarterly business review (QBR) On a monthly basis, to be responsible for the closure of month end management P&L: Review accruals and adjustments made by Accounting (shared service) team including margin adjustments to COGS and expenses for direct regional reporting (distribution, selling, marketing) Calculate interco profit on stock held at end of each month Prepare stock obsolescence and review with Manager Monitor and review rebates programs to ensure accurate accrual of rebates and review with Manager and the business Reconciliation of manual adjustments between BI tool (Qlikview Sales and Margin) and reporting systems for sales and margin Review India P&L with accounting team and ensure accrual account postings are accurate. Variance analysis on MTD and YTD results vs budget, forecast and prior year Support from sales leaders in preparation for BRM Review Monthly forecast with sales leaders including volume forecast for waterfall Provide estimates, tracking and accruals on SIPs for the Medical APAC business. Other Establish alignment between Global Supply Chain, Sales and Accounting on Distribution costs Lead and mentor one direct report (based in Malaysia) B. Relating to Commercial support as finance business partner Explain monthly results to the sales leaders, compiling sell-out data for presenting the true growth data for sales leaders and calculating ASP\'s for rebate calculations. Prepare and Review profitability analysis for new business opportunities / initiatives / pricing to support tenders, etc. Review and apply Business Modelling to address changing business conditions (i.e. sales loss, gross profit erosion, currency impacts and expense levels). Support strategic projects such as route to market assessment, channel strategy, logistics\' projects etc. Provide ongoing commercial support and ad-hoc financial analysis for all other commercial activities. What will you bring Minimum Finance or Business Administration Degree from a leading University CA/CPA or equivalent would be preferred. Minimum of 5+ years of diversified financial analysis experience including having worked in a multinational Consumer or Healthcare products or financial services industry. Good knowledge of general accounting principles with emphasis on financial analysis, planning techniques and business intelligence. Must have excellent management communication skills and a commercial mindset to support the Sales Leaders and Management. Exceptional skills on Excel and PowerPoint. Desired experience in SAP, FCCS/HFM, QlikView, Power BI, etc. Ability to work with and interpret big data from multiple sources to reach conclusions and make recommendations to the business Detail oriented, organized, work well both individually and as part of a team.
