This is an exciting opportunity for a Japanese-speaking professional to join an established life science company as an FP&A specialist. The role focuses on financial planning and analysis within the Accounting & Finance department in Kuala Lumpur.

• Perform financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support business decision-making processes.
• Analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports for internal stakeholders.
• Provide insights into financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
• Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure alignment with corporate financial strategies.
• Monitor key financial metrics and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Support the preparation of management presentations and financial dashboards.
• Communicate effectively in both Japanese and English to liaise with stakeholders and teams.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the Accounting & Finance department.

A successful FP&A - Japanese speaker should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Fluency in both Japanese (min JLPT N3) and English, with strong communication skill.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in FP&A, financial reporting, or controlling. Candidates with SSC background is an added advantage
• Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software.
• Experience in financial planning, reporting, and forecasting within the life science industry is advantageous.
• Experience with BI tools and ERP systems
• An analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
