Job Summary

We are looking for a

Freelance / Part-Time Account Editor

to assist our finance team in ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance in financial records and reports. The role involves reviewing, editing, and verifying financial documents on a flexible basis, making it suitable for candidates seeking part-time or freelance opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Review and edit financial statements, management reports, and other accounting documents for accuracy and consistency. Verify data entries, account balances, and supporting documentation. Ensure compliance with MFRS and internal company policies. Check invoices, supplier payments, and petty cash records. Provide corrections and suggestions to improve financial reporting. Collaborate with the internal team for clarification on discrepancies. Maintain strict confidentiality of company financial data.
Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Prior experience in accounting, auditing, or financial reporting (freelance, part-time, or corporate). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SQL, Xero, or similar). Strong attention to detail with good analytical and editing skills. Able to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
Work Arrangement

Freelance / Part-Time basis

Remote work, with possible meetings at office (Klang Valley, if required). Flexible working hours based on project needs.

Need to own/have laptop


Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: From RM20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 45 per week
