Position Overview:

We are seeking professional freelance sworn translators in their respective countries with

a minimum of three years of proven experience

in Malay< > English translation. The ideal candidates will be certified/sworn Translators in Malay who have a passion for language, subject-matter expertise, and a strong understanding of cultural nuances.

Key Responsibilities:

Translate written documents from Malay into English and English into Malay

with 100% accuracy

while maintaining the formatting and ensuring cultural relevance. Collaborate with the relevant language department coordinator to understand project-specific requirements.

Strictly adhere to confidentiality agreements

and company guidelines on document security. Provide

verified proof of credentials and professional experience

upon request. Ensure timely delivery of translations

without compromising quality

.

Qualifications (Mandatory):

Bachelor's degree or higher

in Translation, Linguistics, or a relevant field.

Certification from a recognized translation authority

in your country (e.g., ATA, NAATI, CIOL).

Minimum of three years

of professional written translation experience. Native or near-native proficiency in both the source and target languages. Strong attention to detail and adherence to

industry best practices

. Proficiency in translation software such as

Trados, MemoQ, or Wordfast

(preferred). Ability to work independently and

handle multiple projects with tight deadlines

.

Experience in specialized fields

(e.g., legal, medical, technical, financial) is highly desirable.

Additional Restrictions:

Machine translation or AI-assisted translations

without thorough post-editing are strictly prohibited. Candidates must

pass a translation test

before being considered for projects.
