Salary: RM 3000-4000.
Location: Kelana Jaya, SS7, Petaling Jaya.

About the hiring companyOur client is an established and respected international freight forwarding company in Malaysia, providing total logistic and complete inter-modal transportation system with a vast network worldwide. Due to their increasing business volume, they are currently seeking to appoint capable candidates to assume the role of Ocean Freight Administration Executive within their busy freight operations team. The position will be based at their business operations head office in Kelana Jaya. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well established organization in logistics industry. Previous experience in logistics or shipping industry ideally suitable although those without the relevant experience will be duly considered. About the jobThis is a fast-paced role and applicant will need a high degree of accuracy and details and an ability to multi-task.The logistics professional functions as an interface between international and domestics service providers and the broader business.The role will see you responsible for the execution of freight movements for exports sea freight shipments. You will be responsible for end to end export coordination to include handling export inquiries, confirming information with your clients and service providers, preparing/lodging all export documentation, ensuring all information is accurately recorded in Cargowise (system) and raising relevant invoices (charges). Lines of Duties will include collating export document, bookings with shipping lines, organizing movement of cargo, client invoicing, etc. Your role will encompass the following responsibilities:-Manage the necessary documentation for the efficient and legal execution of import and export activities.-Consolidation preparation.-Update in the computer systems with manifesting data in accordance with shipper's instructions-Input data into the EDI management system.-Check and verify Bill of Lading/invoice print. -Resolve cargo reporting discrepancies with Customs department.-Collaborating with the Accounting team to resolve discrepancies with Operations invoicing matters.-Maintenance of cargo security and appropriate records.-Provide documentation,reporting and quotations to customers.-Play a key role in customer implementation,development and retention,actively managing own customer accounts,providing quality customer service.-Build and maintain strong, professional working relationships with customers to support development of new and additional business streams.Requirements We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic and pro-active driven person (Malaysian female) to apply for this role. To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualification and experience:-Tertiary qualifications (Degree or Diploma level) in Logistics, International Freight Forwarding or relevant disciplines; or equivalent commercial experience .-Minimum 3 years' industry experience in Freight forwarding/Supply Chain & Logistics; those without the logistics experience but with the right work attitude and genuine passion and interest will be duly considered. -Strong communication skills,both verbal and written English.-Intermediate level skills with MS Office suite and electronic systems such as Cargowise-EDI.-Proven track record in customer service role.Special Note on candidate career and profileThis is a rare and unique opportunity for career driven individuals who would like to pursue one's career in international logistics profession.
