Our client is a well established and industry leader in international multi-modal logistics forwarding industry. The company provides mainly ocean freight and warehousing for their customers. Now they have an opportunity for a freight forwarding all rounder to handle a combination of Import and Export operations within their business main office in Kelana Jaya. Key responsibilities
Liaising with Customers, suppliers, overseas agents/offices.
Co-ordinating export documentation requirements including receipt and verification of export documentation, issuing booking confirmation.
Export shipment registration requirements and issue pre alerts to overseas office/agents.
Assist with coordination of export collection/import deliveries.
Verification of documents received from overseas to ensure completeness and accurate.
Invoicing customer/agents and verifying vendor invoices for approval.
The Person Malaysian female with Diploma qualification in Shipping or Freight Management. To be successful in this role, applicant will need to have 1-2 years work experience within a freight forwarding or logistics industry role. Possess excellent verbal/written communications skills in this case English and good customer service skills. Experience with the computer system Cargowise is necessary.
