Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Front-End Developer with at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in Vue.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, layout proportions, and user experience, and will be responsible for developing and optimizing the user-facing interfaces of modern web applications and websites.

This role involves not only building clean, efficient, and responsive interfaces but also ensuring visual consistency, usability, and high performance across devices. The candidate should be able to collaborate closely with designers and back-end developers to turn design concepts into seamless, interactive, and visually appealing user experiences.

Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and maintain frontend solutions using Vue.js 3; Evaluate and compare strengths and weaknesses of Vue.js 3 and other frontend frameworks (e.g., React.js); Implement Vue.js principles, including components, reactivity, and state management (Pinia/Vuex); Utilize frontend build tools (e.g., Vite, Webpack, Babel, Vue CLI) to streamline development processes; Collaborate effectively with UI/UX designers to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces; Integrate frontend functionalities with RESTful APIs using asynchronous programming techniques; Ensure version control using Git and follow Agile development methodologies; Optimize application performance and user experience through efficient use of component lifecycles and performance tuning; Experience in migrating or upgrading applications to Vue.js 3 or other frameworks is a plus; Implement CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps) to facilitate continuous integration, delivery, and deployment; Collaborate with development teams to integrate application code into CI/CD pipelines and implement automated testing and quality assurance strategies; Implement security best practices to ensure compliance with standards and regulations throughout development and deployment; Troubleshoot and debug issues to maintain high application stability; Ensure code quality and maintainability through rigorous code reviews, testing, and adherence to coding standards; Stay updated with the latest features and updates in Vue.js 3, and evaluate their relevance to ongoing projects;

Requirements

Minimum 2-3 years of software development experience with a strong frontend focus; Required language(s): English and Mandarin are mandatory; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience); Proven experience as a frontend developer specializing in Vue.js 3; Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with modern web frameworks (e.g., Nuxt.js, Laravel, React.js, or Node.js is a plus); Strong understanding of component-based architecture, reactivity, and state management (Pinia/Vuex); Experience working with frontend build tools and optimizing web applications for performance and scalability; Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to analyze and optimize complex frontend systems; Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams; Ability to provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guide the team in implementing best practices and industry standards.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
