Job Summary Participates in the technical design, development, and implementation of application systems. Applies complete knowledge, skills, and practices to perform assignments.

The Global Credit Technology team is looking for an experienced developer who is passionate about UI design and can bring a depth of web application development experience. The purpose of the team is to build new data origination capabilities and cross-platform integrations that will allow our business to increase operational efficiencies while ensuring appropriate policies, procedures and regulatory requirements are adhered to.
As a UI Developer with HTML5 and ReactJS experience, you will be building scalable software in a service oriented architecture and a rich front end credit application. You will be working in an agile team to deliver business value incrementally, and communicating with various IT and business stakeholders to understand use cases and ensuring your solution is fit for purpose.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Create robust, reusable software

• Influence cross discipline teams on next generation front end development and user experience

• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and drive project progress and benefits

• Create prototypes that can be rapidly shared with clients or consumers

• Create truly robust software that can be depended on by other teams

• Design & implement common patterns, services, components and frameworks

• Leverage best-practices in continuous integration and delivery to improve quality and velocity

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must have:

• Strong development experience in building dynamic and responsive UIs using HTML5 and CSS with ReactJS

• Experience developing with Node.js and TypeScript

• Knowledge of performance testing frameworks like Node and NPM

• Experience working within professional software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source code management, build processes and testing

• Self-motivated driven to get results, takes initiative and needs minimum oversight.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with .NET based server side technologies and creating/consuming from a REST backend

• Experience with relational database programming and design principles using Sybase, SQL Server or similar database technologies

• Experience with implementing user interface libraries such as Material-UI

• Experience containerizing and deploying applications with Docker/Kubernetes

• Experience building DevOps pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins, Nexus, etc)

• Capital Markets experience is a strong plus

• Experience working in an agile environment
