Position : Front-End Developer

Salary : RM 4,000 - RM 6,500

Location : Tropicana Garden

Working Hours : Monday - Friday (10am - 7pm)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Front-End Developer who is passionate about crafting intuitive, high-performance user interfaces for modern web applications. This role focuses on building scalable, maintainable front-end solutions while collaborating closely with backend engineers, designers, and product stakeholders. The ideal candidate will take ownership of UI development, ensure consistent user experiences across platforms, and contribute to continuous improvement of our web applications.

Job Scope

Design, develop, and maintain responsive user interfaces for web-based applications Convert UI/UX designs, mockups, and product requirements into functional and visually consistent front-end code Create modular, reusable UI components to support long-term application scalability Optimize front-end performance to ensure fast load times and smooth interactions across browsers and devices Collaborate with backend developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic and APIs Ensure code quality through proper documentation, testing, and adherence to coding standards Maintain and enhance existing applications while supporting new feature development Participate in technical discussions and propose improvements to UI architecture and workflows Support cross-platform development initiatives, including exposure to mobile technologies such as Flutter

Requirements

Strong proficiency in JavaScript and modern front-end development concepts, including DOM manipulation Hands-on experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework such as Vue.js, React, or similar Solid understanding of ES6+ (modern ECMAScript) features and best practices Familiarity with RESTful APIs and front-end integration patterns Experience with modern front-end tooling and build systems (e.g., Vite, Rollup, Babel, npm) Working knowledge of TypeScript is an advantage Ability to translate business and design requirements into effective technical solutions Strong focus on performance optimization and UI responsiveness Practical experience with PHP and at least one PHP framework such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Yii Experience working with databases such as MySQL or MongoDB Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git Exposure to Flutter (Dart) or mobile development concepts is a plus Detail-oriented, collaborative, and capable of working independently when required
