Objectives of the Position

In the product family \xe2\x80\x9cDigital Laboratory\xe2\x80\x9d we continuously optimize and innovate the digital laboratory support and solution landscape, including validated environments (esp. Good Laboratory Practice, Good Manufacturing Practice). We enable automized laboratory data capture and seamless data flows as key foundation for subsequent data integration and analysis. In Addition, we provide on-site laboratory support and tailored solutions to meet specific needs of laboratories.

In this role you will be an active part of a team working on exciting digitalization projects and services for our R&D partners and solution landscape that have a visible impact inside and outside our organization.

Main Tasks

• You will actively participate in the implementation and maintenance of tailored applications for our R&D partners and solution landscape
• You build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Your deliveries include implementation of security and data protection routines
• Furthermore, you are willing to train and mentor other team members

Requirements

Education

• You have a computer science, software engineering or similar degree

Working Experience

• You have 2-5 years of work experience in a similar role.

Technical & Professional Knowledge (Mandatory)

• You are proficient in developing AngularJS (JavaScript) applications.
• You have profound knowledge in API and database design.
• You have no difficulty getting to grips with a complex software architecture.
• You can migrate existing applications to new versions.
• You embrace a thorough testing & QA attitude, and code review mentality.
• You can take initiatives and are able to take ownership and drive topics.
• You have a growth mindset with a curiosity to learn and improve to foster a positive and energized culture.
• You thrive working as part of a remote and international team.

Technical & Professional Knowledge (Additional)

• Experience in defining an application architecture
• Experience in scientific data visualization
• Experience working in agile frameworks
