Main Task

• Within RGQ/DS \xe2\x80\x9cScientific Software Engineering\xe2\x80\x9d, you will be responsible for frontend development as part of a DevOps team.
• You will be coding state-of-the art and intuitive applications with a high need for stability and continuity for larger user-groups in a chemical research and development environment. The apps will allow users to easily manage and analyze their data and access models or algorithms.
• You will be working in agile and self-organized way within a small DevOps team and collaborate for implementation of projects across different competencies. You not only consider development of new applications but also operations and maintenance as a valuable part of your daily work.
• Part of your daily job will also be to drive the future development and innovation of the team\'s technology stack with regards to user\'s requirements, and according to modern coding, security, and tool standards.

Education and Work Experience

• Associate or bachelor\'s degree in information technology from an Accredited College or University in Computer Science or natural science
• 3+ years of experience in frontend development

Technical & Professional Knowledge (mandatory)

• Worked with IT technologies such as Vue (2+), Nuxt, TypeScript, JavaScript, and NGRX. Base knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, REST API (JSON) is required.
• Have basic experience with regards to oAuth2, npm, Bootstrap, ECharts or D3. Knowledge about responsive design would be beneficial.
• Background in Python3 incl relevant frameworks, databases incl. PostgreSQL, MongoDB or Neo4J, Microservices and developing cloud native applications is a benefit, as well as experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD automation, Terraform, Azure DevOps and / or GitlabCI.
• The willingness to learn backend technologies and get trained by the team on the job is significant plus.
