Job Description

We are looking for a versatile Full Stack Developer to manage and enhance our technical ecosystem. While this role covers both frontend and backend, the primary focus will be on backend logic, system integration, and automation.

You will be responsible for maintaining our Internal Management Systems (Legacy PHP), taking ownership of outsourced applications after their completion, and architecting automated workflows to connect our sales channels with our Order Management Systems (OMS).

Responsibilities:

Vendor Collaboration & Handover: Collaborate with external vendors developing our frontend applications. You must review their code structure during development, lead the technical handover process, and take full ownership of maintenance and future updates post-launch. Internal System Development: Maintain and enhance our proprietary Internal Systems (Frontend UI & Backend Logic) using PHP (Laravel/Native) and MySQL to support daily operations. Database Optimization: Design and optimize database structures and queries to ensure:
- Accurate commission calculations for Staff and Affiliates.

- Efficient data retrieval for the Fulfillment Team (Order Processing).

- Accurate sales reporting for the Finance Department.

Automation & Integration: Architect scalable workflows using low-code automation platforms or custom scripts to inject orders from external sources into our centralized OMS via API. API Management: Integrate and maintain connections between internal systems and third-party platforms, specifically E-commerce Marketplaces, Social Commerce platforms, and Payment Gateways. Troubleshooting: Debug issues across the full stack--from UI display errors to backend API failures--and implement long-term fixes.

Requirements (Skills):

Tech Stack (Backend): Strong proficiency in PHP and Node.js/JavaScript. Tech Stack (Frontend): Competent in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Vue.js or React is a bonus). Code Review: Ability to read, understand, and debug code written by other developers (critical for taking over outsourced projects). Database: Strong understanding of MySQL, specifically in normalizing data for complex financial/commission calculations. Automation Mindset: Experience or willing to use workflow automation middleware (e.g., visual workflow builders), Webhooks, or Cron Jobs to speed up development. API Knowledge: Proven experience integrating RESTful APIs for E-commerce & Payment platforms.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of working experience in Full Stack or Backend Development.

Language:

Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English (Written & Spoken).

Soft Skills:

Able to translate requirements from Finance/Operation teams into technical solutions. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
