About The Team

Our mission at BAE Systems Digital Intelligence is to collect, connect and understand complex data, so that our customers can unlock digital advantage in the most demanding environments.

At our Malaysian Global Delivery Centre we work with clients from around the world to deliver engineering services in the industries of defense and cybersecurity to meet our customers needs.

We are looking for a candidate to work as a full stack developer with a focus particularly on FE development due to increasing demand we are seeing across a number of exciting project portfolios.

What you will be doing:

-Working within an agile scrum team with a focus on FE development work
-Analysing user requirements to help design effective user interfaces
-Developing high quality software code with high quality practices such as peer reviews and unit testing
-Deploying applications on Kubernetes infrastructure
-Debugging issues raised by the client and test teams to ensure swift resolution
-Presenting application demos to senior stakeholders
-Mentoring junior team members

Role requirements:

-At least 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a development role including use of FE technologies
-Excellent English verbal communication skills, should be comfortable presenting to an international audience of senior stakeholders

Desirable requirements:

-Experience with ReactJS, Redux and React Hooks
-Experience with Django or FastAPI
-Experience with GraphQL
-Experiance with OpenGL or other 3D rendering/modelling technologies
-Experience with Backend Software Technologies such as Python, NodeJS or Java
-Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
-Experience with DevOps and CI/CD technologies
-Experience working with Cloud deployments
