About the team:

Hi, my name is Ondrej and I'm team manager. I've started at DP DHL right after the school and then I returned to DP DHL after 8 years with more experience under my belt. I felt the urge to get back not just because of old memories, but also because of unique chance to be part of team that shape future

of new Digital Platforms department. Obviously not alone but with strong support of 15 other colleagues working from 4 different countries on 2 continents.

One thing that connects us is ambition to create One Stop Shop for all DPDHL APIs.

My team benefits from stable and large scale company with unique opportunity of freshly build department - Digital platforms. Our focus is on fusing preparation of API Platforms as a technical enabler for others to use. During that we use Agile, DevOps and SRE frameworks/practices to the delivery & support. You can call us startup in a corporation.

About the project:

To make our ambition of One Stop Shop for all APIs happen we use state of the art technologies. You could be part of Research & Development as some of them are not available to general public just yet. Currently we're looking for new colleagues to join our API Platforms team to work on API Developer

portal enhancements.

Your common day:

Dev part

• Be part of an agile development team

• Building and maintaining the Developer portal (Infrastructure as a code)

- Add new features to the platform according to the product backlog

- Perform bug fixes

- Research new capabilities

• Delivery of the new functionality through scripting/coding

Ops part

• Support of the production environment

• Incident resolution

• Passion to learn new technologies and build new projects

• Willingness to support production environment (on-call rotation within larger team)

JUNIOR

You should have:

• At least basic working proficiency with LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP) stack

• Basic understanding of JavaScript, React and PHP

• Basic knowledge of content management systems (e.g. Drupal)

• Basic knowledge of Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines

• Familiar with principles of API - REST/SOAP

• Willingness to participate in on-calls (rotational with the team) and learn new technologies

Nice to have:

• Previous exposure to GCP/Azure/AWS

SENIOR

You should have:

• Solid working proficiency with LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP) stack

• Strong understanding of JavaScript, React and PHP

• Experience working with Drupal CMS

• Ability to work with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines

• Knowledge of API - REST/SOAP

• Willingness to participate in on-calls (rotational with the team) and learn new technologies
