Job Description

We are hiring a Junior Full Stack Developer on behalf of our client, an Australia-based funds management company established in 2016 with diversified business activities. The organisation has also expanded into the aged care sector, including recruitment and talent-related services, and operates in a dynamic, startup-oriented environment. With offices across Australia and an international presence in Hong Kong and Malaysia, the company continues to develop its footprint across multiple markets.
This is a remote role, and you will be involved in web application development and AI integration.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using React (JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Build and manage backend services using ExpressJS and GraphQL
• Collaborate with developers and designers to implement and test new features
• Design and integrate APIs and databases for seamless data flow.
• Support AI related integrations using Python, FastAPI and Hugging Face.
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimise application performance.
• Stay up to date with modern web and AI technologies to improve product quality.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.js.
• Solid understanding of responsive design and modern UI/UX principles.
• Experience with Python, ExpressJS and GraphQL for server side and API development
• Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases and cloud platforms (AWS,GCP or Azure)
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and basic web security concepts
