The Role GoGet is seeking a passionate Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Engineering team in Malaysia initially, with potential expansion to ASEAN. In this role, you\'ll be an integral part of our Software Engineering team, working closely with team members to deliver high-quality code, mentor junior developers, and contribute to our innovative platform. Let\'s break that down Learn, Grow and Thrive as a Software Engineer Contribute to GoGet\'s backend (mainly in Ruby on Rails with some modules in Go and Node.js). Contribute to GoGet\'s frontend (in React.js and Flutter) Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Develop REST APIs to integrate with web, iOS, and Android front-end applications as well as other external services. Create and maintain technical documentation. Mentor junior developers for growth and product excellence. Review code meticulously, providing improvement guidance. Demonstrate a willingness to expand your skills and contribute to development using various programming languages and frameworks, such as Go Lang, React.js, and Flutter, when the need arises. Continuously enhance code quality and release processes Advocate for automation and efficient development practices. Integrate cutting-edge technologies into design and architecture. Who will you work with As a collaborative team player, you\'ll actively engage with the CTO, your fellow software engineers, our product and design team and collaborate with various cross-functional teams as necessary. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of web development experience. Willingness to code in Ruby on Rails. Willingness to code in either React.js, Flutter. Ability to code in Go or Node.js is a nice to have, should have a willingness to learn. Strong understanding of OOP design patterns. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Javascript, and MVC frameworks. Ability to contribute independently to projects. Strong decision-making skills in implementation. Experience with SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL). Competence in estimating task durations. Proficiency in developing test cases independently (BDD and TDD). Eagerness to learn new technologies. Excellent communication skills for knowledge sharing. Familiarity with code versioning tools like Git and Github. Experience with Agile development workflows is a plus. Ownership of code quality and usability. Capacity to structure data for scalability. Location Our office is located at Bukit Damansara, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
