We are seeking a passionate and technically skilled
Female Robotic Trainer
to join our education/tech team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in STEM, robotics, and programming, and will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging training modules to students or fellow trainers. The candidate must also be comfortable working with children--including
students with special needs
--and able to create a positive, supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Training & Teaching
Develop and deliver interactive training sessions on:
LEGO-based and block programming platforms
(e.g., LEGO WeDo, Scratch-based robotics).
2D Animation
for robotic interfaces or project visualization (e.g., Scratch Jr, Scratch).
3D Design
using software such as TinkerCAD or Blender.
Arduino Programming
, including circuit design, C/C++ coding, sensors, motors, and electronic components.
Guide students in creating functional robotic prototypes incorporating design, movement, and interactivity.
Effectively handle and support
students with special needs
, ensuring lessons and activities remain inclusive and manageable.
2) Lesson Development & Support
Design course materials, lesson plans, worksheets, and hands-on project modules tailored to different skill levels.
Prepare all
class materials, tools, and equipment
before lessons, ensuring all components are complete and functional.
Conduct
stock take
for components and teaching kits, ensuring inventory is organized and updated.
Provide technical mentorship and learning support during classes, workshops, or competitions.
Stay updated on emerging technologies in robotics, design software, and microcontroller systems.
Assist in refining curriculum based on student feedback and tech trends.
3) Team & Management Responsibilities
Mentor junior trainers to strengthen teaching skills and classroom management.
Maintain a
kids-friendly
, patient, and engaging teaching style.
Support Academy social media content when required.
Demonstrate a positive attitude towards tasks assigned by management.
Willing to travel for training sessions, programs, or events as needed.
Work Location & Availability:
Able to work at
Setia Alam (HQ)
and selected branch locations.
Able to start in
December 2025 onwards

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Engineering, Computer Science, STEM, Early Childhood Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience teaching or conducting workshops is a strong advantage.
Ability to communicate and present effectively.
Strong patience, empathy, and classroom management skills--especially when handling young learners or special needs students.
A problem-solving mindset with a passion for hands-on, experiential learning.
Working hours:
Tuesday to Saturday
9am - 6pm
